In September, the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN), previously known as the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN), held its Autumn Aesthetics Conference in Birmingham. This was followed by The Nurses’ Network’s Elevate event at the start of November in London.

Both organisations pride themselves on supporting cosmetic nurses, providing clinical and business guidance to enhance aesthetic practice and protect patients’ safety.
Their events were filled with valuable information for cosmetic nurses on everything from introducing new products to your clinic, to growing your brand and reputation online.
Highlights for cosmetic nurses at the BAMAN conference included learning about the education and training projects underway, as well as updates to the BAMAN Nurse Career and Competency Framework.
Understanding how to create a ‘killer content strategy’ with advice from cosmetic and aesthetics digital expert Rick O’Neill, was top of the list at The Nurses’ Network event.
Enhancing your practice
Knowledge sharing and learning opportunities at events such as these is an essential part of becoming a successful cosmetic nurse.
